Will our next president and other elected
officials respect human rights,
reject all forms of corruption and fiercely challenge anyone who seeks to
undermine the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Will they
bring our troops home, make a speedy end to the war in Iraq, and prevent
any future war of aggression?
One of my 2008 Rebel with Just Cause Awards goes to Dr. Ron Paul for the Love Revolution he helped generate that is sweeping America, returning us to our roots of self-government, free of tyranny and big government oppression. The Spirit of '76 is the Holy Spirit and our true north.

Will election winners lead us in a debate about our drug policies that have netted us the dubious honor of being the most incarcerated nation in history with 1 out every 99 imprisoned? Murderers and violent sexual predators roam free while we police nonviolent social, medicinal and religious drug use. This is not making our streets safer.
If you think ending the drug war would not effect your life, since you are not an illicit drug user, think again. At least 42 innocent citizens have been killed during botched drug raids. Police have the wrong address or act hastily and innocent families with kids and dogs are terrorized at gun point if they survive it.
Prohibition supports despicable blood thirsty terrorists, who sell drugs to children and recruit them to sell to their peers. We are not protecting our most vulnerable; according to testimony to the Senate we are only arresting about 2% of the child porn that is happening right now.
Alcohol and psychotropic pharmaceuticals trigger violence in our homes and schools. This focus of our limited resources on so called illicit drug use does not make our children safer.
The truth is out and spreading like wildfire! Cannabis cures cancer! This truth will not be suppressed, until every household knows the clamor, the swelling protest, exposing dark, dirty secrets of heinous crimes against humanity!
No surprise big pharma tries to eradicate their biggest competitor. Cannabis cures Cancer. Patients all over the world testify to Cannabis' help in treating , chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, gastrointestinal (GI) tract disorders and HIV/AIDS! Some scientists speculate that cannabinoids play a protective role in the brain, slowing the rate of disease and aging. Most recently a study has shown THC is far more effective than available Alzheimer's drugs to treat symptoms and halt the disease's progression.
Arresting nonviolent people for making a safer health choice, Cannabis, compared to other medicinal/social drugs is scandalous reefer madness. Cannabis oil is that cure all some of our ancestors used! Thank God, they did not let us all be brain washed into forgetfulness about the wonder of it! Oooops they spilled the beans, in spite of the oppression promoted by medical profiteers.
Cannabis really does make it all better. Healthcare profiteers fear this plant that anyone can make a healing extract or oil from, for pennies on the dollar. How can they compete? When you compare cost and their killer side effects with cannabis' very nice, pleasant side effects. Many of medical establishment promoted cures today are worse than the disease.
Some believe Cannabis is The Tree of Life!
What if they are right? This
medicinal plant truly could be a healer of the conflicts between nations.
This scandal, this tyranny exposed, could return us to the blessing of self
government spreading peace and abundance around the world.
No surprise alcohol and tobacco profiteers
try to eradicate their biggest competitor. Our education campaign making people
aware of the truly life threatening dangers of tobacco use seems to be slowing
this killer down. However, present policies encourage the use of alcohol,
a drug known for releasing aggressive behavior and clouding our judgment.
A SHSU student is the latest victim of the drug war.

We are punishing people because servants of
tyranny ignore science in naming Cannabis, their choice, unwise when in fact
it is
a scientifically proven safer, wiser health choice, compared to legal
alternatives. Taking children from the homes of parents who made a safer health
choice in a medicinal or social drug is insane policy.
Taking property from these same, destroyed by government families, is legalized extortion! States seized $1.52 billion in 2007. End asset forfeiture! We owe reparations to people for all this tyranny.
Save the children, just say NO to prohibition!
Trigger less violence, racism, tyranny and ruined lives!
The countless daily injustices mean it's time to ramp up efforts to end the Drug War, repeal prohibition! European harm reduction policy works so much better than our current response.

has filed a bipartisan federal bill to
legalize "small amounts" of marijuana and make room for serious

The real visionaries, who laid down our laws, those who defined what an American patriot would be, were rebels with just cause. They made it not just our right but our patriotic duty to rebel against big government corruption. It was revolutionary, a giant step away from tyranny! Our founders knew big government would always mean a gang of evildoers.
Will the free press insist on a discussion of these issues that drain funds from more positive ventures that build our future like education, health, drug abuse treatment, alternative energy and the infrastructure? Will you demand a free press?
Just about 10 miles from the official Republican convention, but a galaxy far far away from more of the same, Dr. Paul attracted up to 12,000 supporters for an event called Rally for the Republic!
"There's something exciting in the air," Paul told a cheering audience. "A revolutionary spirit has erupted, and it will not be suppressed. We are involved in a historic event." Dr.Paul, coming from the time and space of 1776, recently wrote a book "The Revolution: A Manifesto". He formally kicked off his Campaign for Liberty with the motto: "The Revolution Continues."
Congressman Paul will make a major announcement this week in Washington at the National Press Club.
