Sometimes a Great Notion!

The Federalist papers remain a primary source for interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, as the essays outline a lucid and compelling version of the philosophy and motivation of our system of government. James Madison, John Jay, and Alexander Hamilton; the authors of The Federalist papers wanted both to influence the vote in favor of ratification, at that time and to shape future interpretations of the Constitution.

The Cannabis Papers a citizen's guide to cannabinoids is by a group of reformers using Publius; the same penname used by Madison, Jay and Hamilton. The Cannabis Papers are a series of essays detailing the role of cannabinoids in Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The essays take truths that have recently become evident; like "all human beings - in fact all mammals - use cannabinoids" and suggest ideas on how this fact will effect our future transformation. "Simply stated, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system modulate other systems within the human body - and that fact alone represents a revolution in how we will soon be thinking about nature and cannabinoids."

Tell the Attorney General that you want him to end all DEA medical marijuana raids, once and for all. The people believe in self-government and self-medication. Patients swear it is an effective safer replacement for very dangerous pharmaceuticals.

James Gray, a former federal prosecutor and county judge, gradually became convinced that the ban on marijuana was making it more accessible to young people, not less. "I ask kids all the time, and they'll tell you it is easier to get marijuana than a six-pack of beer because that is controlled by the government," Grey explained drug dealers don't ask for IDs or honor minimum age requirements. "Let's face reality," Grey declares, "Taxing and regulating marijuana will make it less available to children than it is today."

Marijuana is a safer choice. It is safer than alcohol or tobacco. So why are we driving people to drink? True healthcare reform requires less government involvement, not more. Let the free market and ethics rule!

Our founders knew big government would always mean a gang of evil doers, often hiding tyranny under the guise of good intentions. Sometimes a great notion comes along that can save a great nation!

The American dream is, "for the power of love to overcome the love of power." We will overcome! Founded in self-government or the freedom philosophy, both economic and personal, we will overcome!

Ethical, compassionate team work makes the dream work! Consider the life-altering qualities of kindness and compassion. Stop financing war and the industrial weapons complex and spend more tax dollars to end poverty, hunger and to improve education. Even better; let's end taxes, pay for services as we use them and donate to our favorite church or trusted charity foundation to help the local needy.

Recent attacks at government facilities by individuals with strong negative feelings about the federal government reveal the frustration of citizens who have lost hope. One day this period in history will be looked back on as a dark age in American justice and medicine.

Many are familiar with the Serenity prayer; asking for the wisdom to know the difference between things we can change and those we really must learn to accept or at least tolerate. Stripping that beast, Uncle Sam, of all power not specifically granted in our founding documents will take most of the money out of politics.

Tell Congress to pass the Enumerated Powers Act. Wise, educated voters know it is within our power to Downsize DC. We accept we have to be tolerant of things we can not change, such as human nature.

Under true limited government we can be serene in the knowledge that we can keep up with what our fearless leaders are up to and still have time to enjoy the freedom and liberty we love. Today to keep up with the no good Uncle Sam is usually up to is a Herculean feat! Many have given up even trying.

However, if we know we are the source of problems such as: nightmare policies triggering violence, racism and offical lawlessness, destroying lives or destroying our core safety values and the family, destroying natural habitats, causing extinction of a species, causing dead zones on shore lines, etc. We can be the foundation for the solutions. The educated citizen will no longer be suckered by big government fear mongering, lies and propaganda.

Get tough on violent crime! Warriors can get their adrenaline rush chasing murderers and other violent predators.

Today is a gift that's why its called the present. Take a great notion to use the talents you were blessed with to Downsize DC, stop the drug war and Restore Justice! Stop all wars of aggression and began the wean off the welfare state. Let the free market and ethics rule!

Peace, tolerance and free trade in goods and knowledge create a world of abundance. America deserves to have an ethical, efficient, and constitutionally limited government. Here is one great tool to get to know your candidates or try this one to find out your current races.

Changing who's in charge will not affect much. The real cause of this huge quagmire of failed policy is the beast, big government, that money hungry beast, Uncle Sam! Ma Freedom tells it like it is! The beauty of it is when we focus on down-sizing our government we regain our roots of self-government and secure the blessings of liberty for future generations and ourselves.
