Scientists have discovered that one of Bob Dylan's most famous

The debate over medical marijuana, hemp or cannabis is really a scandalous controversy over whether this very effective, safe and easy-to-grow herb should be allowed to compete with expensive and dangerous pharmaceuticals. Cannabis oil is the cure all our ancestors relied on and thank goodness, did not let us all be brainwashed into forgetfulness about.

Patients testify to Cannabis' help in treating post traumatic stress, depression, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, gastrointestinal (GI) tract disorders, Alzheimer's, Cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS and more! They swear it is an effective safer replacement for very dangerous pharmaceuticals.

Morally bankrupt profiteering has no place in medicine, which must be concerned with the well being of the individual not the bottom line. Doctors who have monitored cannabis use by hundreds of thousands of patients in California and Oregon can document a consistent pattern of using less pharmaceuticals including cutting opiates use by half. Repealing prohibition of marijuana would bring other much needed health care reform.

Only 50 percent of high school students graduate in our ten biggest cities and only 40 per cent graduate in NYC, Baltimore and Detroit. In the Netherlands 92 percent graduate; that's No Child Left Behind! In the Netherlands drugs are legally available to everyone over eighteen.

The propaganda is we wage this war to protect our children. The devastating and deadly facts are our babies; especially teens have become collateral damage in this grossly failed war.

The death and devastation begins on kids before they are even born. The drugs don't cause these problems; it's the lack of prenatal care. Kids placed in foster care when their parents are incarcerated for drug use have four times the death rate of kids left with their parents. We have deprived millions of children and teenagers of their imprisoned parent(s).

The drug war has turned a million of our teenagers into drug dealers, many in deadly drug gangs that have four times the death rate of Texas death row prisoners. Mandatory five-year sentences for anyone over 18 involved in drugs caused drug dealers to get 16 and 17 year-olds to sell drugs for them.

Official lawlessness rules during this prohibition as it did during the last. That's why a group of former officers created the Law Enforcement Against Prohibition organization.

Our corrupt policies attract too many of those who want to milk it for all it is worth. I encourage you to make the LEAP, help restore justice! Attract more of those who will make our system run with the milk of human kindness.

Representative Elliot Engel recently introduced a bill in Congress called the Western Hemisphere Drug Policy Commission Act of 2009 (HR 2134). It has been referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committees on the Judiciary, and Energy and Commerce,

This bill will create an independent commission to evaluate US policies and programs aimed at reducing illicit drug supply and demand. "Clearly, the time has come to reexamine our counternarcotics efforts here at home and throughout the Americas." Representative Elliot Engel said. The Mexico Senate has okayed a bill to legalize drug possession.

Help construct better, safer drug policies for society and the individual. The violence, official lawlessness and prison over population are a policy created nightmare.

War creates a booming economy for some on the suffering of others. Servants of tyranny use war as a tool to make us more accepting of their waste of our precious lives and resources.

Texas, Other States Introduce Firearm Freedom Act. Following Montana's lead, the Lone Star State has introduced a bill in the
legislature challenging federal authority to regulate guns under the
interstate commerce clause of the U.S. Constitution. Under the proposed legislation, firearms and ammunition produced in Texas for use in the state would be exempt from federal laws and regulation.

Tell President Obama you support transparency and accountability at the highest levels of government.

Sooner or later, torture photos will come to light. These abuse photos must, because -- as painful as it is -- confronting the evidence of what was done in our name is essential if we are to live by the law. True Patriots will be heartbroken to see so vividly what the U.S. torture program entailed. It would be a real betrayal of our values and principles if we denied our moral and legal responsibility to bring to account those who involved our country in torture so horrid that we hesitate to look it in the eye. The President is weighing carefully the advice of those in his administration on these issues but he also needs to hear from concerned citizens like you.

Legislators need to realize the people are wise to the ways of morally bankrupt servants of tyranny and want a return to our roots of self-government and very limited state and federal government grounded in truth and transparency. They need to help make that happen or plan on finding jobs in the private sector. Some feel the need for swelling the protest started at the New American Tea Parties.

Servants of tyranny responsible for current quagmire will one-day answer to a higher power for their crimes against humanity. It's time to end the terror by changing our intrusive, big-bully policies, both foreign and domestic. The monetary and environmental costs are staggering and the human suffering unconscionable.
