Ghosts, Bloody Hands & Uncle Sam's wicked, wasteful ways!

Host a "Ghosts of Abu Ghraib" House Party this Halloween. Amnesty International offers a sneak peek at the DVD that exposes Uncle Sam's dark side. This month the New York Times published an article detailing previously undisclosed DOJ memos allowing the CIA to engage in interrogation techniques that amount to torture.

Our founders knew big government would always mean a gang of evil doers. Support Ron Paul's "American Freedom Agenda Act of 2007." It will restore basic Constitutional protections and empower Ameicans to support human rights, democracy, and the rule of law in the world at large. It frees us from the stench of hypocrisy and will
protect Americans and our troops from retaliation by foreign powers for Uncle Sam's transgressions of America's most hallowed principles.

NO amnesty to lawbreaking corporations! It is a complete assault on the rule of law and on the basic fairness of our political system.

The mark of the beast or funding for the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) is coming up for a vote. Write your Congress Critter and request that Section 10305 be removed from the Farm Bill, the annual bloated corporate welfare bill designed to make family farms extinct..

Did you see the protester for the war in Irag wave her bloody hands in the face of Condi Rice? The San Francisco Chronicle reported on cue from a bullhorn's blast, an estimated 30,000 thousand protesters fell to the pavement in a symbolic "die-in" Saturday. As part of a coordinated effort protests were staged in cities across the country; in New York, thousands came out against the war in the rain. More objections to the war were staged in Chicago, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Jonesborough, Tenn., Philadelphia, Orlando, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Boston and other cities around the country.

Trick or treat! Some young men served cannabis laced muffins to the Lake Highlands High School staff last year and have been given deferred adjudication probation and will split a restitution payment of $13,000. What a travesty of justice and waste of court resources. These boys did something less harmful than serving the faculty a rum soaked Christmas cake.

It is down right sinister, a crime against humanity, for the medicinal uses of cannabis to be suppressed. Some scientific researchers speculate that cannabinoids play a protective role in the brain, slowing the rate of disease. Ooooops! Who spilled the beans? Scientists and patients all over the world, that's who! If you live in Michigan, please volunteer to collect signatures from registered voters over the course of the next month.

"As females become sexually active at younger and younger ages, state legislatures have stupidly raised the age at which it is legal to engage in sexual activity. Today, a significant percentage of new prisoners are young men imprisoned for engaging in sexual activity with teenage girls. In the US, criminal justice (sic) has more to do with ruining people than with punishing criminals," says Paul Craig Roberts. He is coauthor of The Tyranny of Good Intentions.

In many of these cases the so-called victim did not want to prosecute; meanwhile violent sexual predators get away with murder. Once all voluntary associations were permissible in America -- economic and social.

Our children are healthy, young animals, entering their sexual primes, over 40% of whom will have had sex before they are fifteen. They should be taught every safety precaution and offered condoms.

Have you noticed opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on your front door forever or how forbidden fruits create many jams? Sex and drugs, for both abstinence is safest but few choose it. When individuals remain in control of their own bodies (including drug, alcohol, prescription use) society benefits.

Responsible adults deserve the right to choose their own recreational or medicinal intoxicant. We deserve the right to the best buy on our medicines worldwide. Americans deserve better protection from violence, especially our children and babies! We deserve better protection from fraud, especially government moralizing and propaganda.

Cut the drug cartels' throats by legalizing and regulating distribution. It
would immediately cut off the major source of funding for terrorists
worldwide and would increase our tax base instead of draining it.

"Over the lifetime of the drug war, we have given U.S. law enforcement more than $1 trillion to stop the flow of drugs." rants Dean Becker, Producer of Drug Truth Network. What a waste of precious lives and resources! Over that same period more than $10 trillion untaxed dollars flowed to terrorists, dangerous cartels and violent gangs.

Restore justice in America; construct science based drug policies about
saving and rehabilitating instead of ruining lives. Drug and alcohol abuse is a disease not a criminal activity.

Red Ribbon week is about educating young people to help them make safe choices. Remembering the vicious killing of "Kiki" is about history repeating itself. Prohibition didn't work the first time and surprise, surprise; we get the same results in our second noble experiment. This insane policy triggers violence and must be rescinded.

Abstinence from recreational drugs is safest for all, especially youth but
few will choose it. Parents do need to set an example for their children.
However, most parents who use drugs and alcohol do not abuse them. They are responsible drug users, especially marijuana users as it is the safest choice.

Over a thousand people die each day due to tobacco use! Close to 300 a day die from prescribed pharmaceuticals. . The tobacco, alcohol and
pharmaceuticals gangs deal drugs that kill many more annually than all
illicit drugs.
We tolerate their salesmen!

Prohibition fuels corruption of public officials and injustice in our courts. It triggers violence in our streets and along our borders. It incites terrorists by forcing senseless policy on other countries. The black market supports despicable people who sell to children and who recruit them to sell to their peers. The statistics reveal that racism is epidemic in the drug war.

"Save the children from Prohibition," was a slogan used to end alcohol
prohibition. Punishing children or adults for making a safer health choice today is absolute madness. Again, we need to save the children, this time from drug prohibition's collateral damage. The drug war tries to destroy families and does destroy the family value of practicing health safety.

Effective drug education based on medical science builds student's
confidence to make informed responsible choices. Present policy falsehoods and scare tactics undermine our credibility. We want to encourage drug free behavior not awaken their curiosity. Truth, trust and reason encourage open communications between youth, parents and faculties.

The only place in the world that Ecstasy (MDMA) was used outside of therapy was in Dallas, Texas in the early '80s. Sen. Bentsen was able to make the drug illegal citing very questionable research. Young people heard about the love drug and the illegal drug networks realized that they had a new profit maker distribution spread quickly. With in 5 years, hundreds of thousands of tablets were used every weekend in every major city in the world and that continues in spite of its illegality

A Howling Big Boo, to the drug czar's National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign! It won't take long at all for cheese to spread around the world if they get a hold of it. Cheese is a very small amount of heroin and a larger amount of diphenhydramine (better known as Benadryl). The amount of heroin in a dose of Cheese is too small to have a noticeable effect on anyone, even a small child, but it does increase the side effects of the Benadryl, which can cause deaths in children.

If you research it you will find that there were few overdose deaths before prohibition. New Mexico recently passed legislation to protect Good Samaritan 911 Calls (for alcohol and drug overdose cases) from "drug crime" prosecution. Many European countries have had similar policy for decades.

We will do a better job preventing overdose deaths, of keeping intoxicated folks off the road and our children drug free with compassionate policy offering helpful treatment.

Remember the Texas Youth Commission scandal. Prisons propagate violence, sexual abuse and crime. Placing nonviolent drug users in this "breeding ground" is policy bordering on insanity or reefer madness!

Across the US last year 40% of the murders, almost 60% of the rapes and about half of the aggravated assaults went unsolved. The cumulative effect of this is horrendous. While we police individual recreational and medicinal use of drugs; murderers and violent sexual predators roam free.

Save the American Dream of self-government; free of tyranny and oppression! Get tough on violent crime, warriors can earn their pay and get their adrenaline rush catching murderers and violent sexual predators.

"Prisons should be full of people we are afraid of, NOT someone we are mad at!" says Howard Wooldridge, a real cowboy hero, riding for freedom to save justice in America. Howard lobbies for us in DC and writes a weekly column about it, LEAP ON THE HILL.
