No surprise, power corrupts...celebrity with its positive benefits, draws people with negative ulterior motives who want to link their name and the rock star's! Some actually kill for it.

One of the 2011 Rebel with Just Cause portraits will be shared by Bradley Manning and Julian Assange for posting the Afghanistan war diaries on WikiLeaks. It is not a crime to expose war crimes. Why are they persecuting the sources of, but NOT the Editors at the NY Times, the Guardian in London and the other major media who all released the information together? Newsmen protect your sources!

Today mass communication, social networking and other high-technologies allow us to band together and form a powerful united front for good over evil more easily and quickly than ever before. The web is the fastest growing communications medium in the history of the world. A powerful tool, a window of opportunity, in our war of good over evil; the Internet continues to revolutionize the way we communicate and has enormous potential for reshaping the political process.

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives," affirmed Madison, the primary author of the Constitution. He would be astounded by the access to information we have today.

Self-governors are knocking on authoritarian doors giving them a wake up call around the globe: We are wise to your wicked, wicked ways! Truth and transparency in leadership is demanded and if WikiLeaks doesn't continue to be our best tool to accomplish this then we will produce another. This is a service, filling a need that will not go away!

Freedom lovers, self-governors around the globe are united by their dedication to nonviolence, individual freedom, open elections, ethical, smaller, transparent government, definitely accountable to the will of the people. Authoritarian regimes rule by creating the fiction of democracy with fake open elections. Liberty lovers in Egypt, Malaysia, Ukraine, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Tunisia and Honduras, to name a few, have bravely risked their lives against tyrannical, authoritarian dictatorships. The truly inspiring documentary, Whisper to a Roar introduces you to just a few of these heroes and inspires US to unite to take back control and to be better at the constant vigilance demanded to maintain it.

Remember Margaret Mead's encouraging words, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Jesus, that great liberator, taught self-government, the defining principle of American government. Our Founding Documents are based on principles that Christians and many other faiths hold dear. The Holy Spirit lives in all of us, whether we acknowledge it or not! It is the part of us that is eternal and strives for good over evil.

A declaration is an affirmation. Independence means self-government. They could have called it, The Affirmation of Self-Government. However I am sure we can all agree, The Declaration of Independence, sounds way more cool! Our founding document, announces and asserts our affirmation of self-government; freedom and liberty for all.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence? Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

What kind of men were they? Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated. But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured. Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags. Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward. Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton. At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt. Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months. John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished. A few weeks later he died from exhaustion and a broken heart. Norris and Livingston suffered similar fates. Such were the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution.

These were not wild-eyed, rabble-rousing ruffians. They were soft-spoken men of means and education. They had security, but they valued liberty more. Standing tall, straight, and unwavering, they pledged: "For the support of this declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor." They gave you and me the means to a free and independent America. We were British subjects at that time and we fought our own government! Some take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't. Please, take a few minutes, while enjoying your Thanksgiving Holiday, silently thank these patriots and vow to do everything you are able to Save the American Dream!!

We are ahead of many countries because of our Founding documents! They were written to enforce small, open government, to prevent tyranny and oppression with our eternal vigilance! They were good men led by the Holy Spirit but money, the love of which is the root of all evil, was part of it. They wanted to create the land of abundance. They knew ethics would have to rule for it to work. The Spirit of '76 was the Holy Spirit and is our true north.

The predatory capitalists such as the morally bankrupt banksters, the military industrial complex and other empire builders with leaders in their pockets are the evil doers our founding documents are meant to protect us from. Benign or ethical capitalism, America's founders' vision of the free market, creates a world of abundance for all.

The honorable Steve Stockman - Dist. 36 follows the US Constitution with his votes 100% of the time! Senator Cruz does 90% of the time. 6 more follow the Constitution 70-75% of the time. All the other 30 national leaders from the Lone star State are failing US on too many issues. Gerrymandering is alive and well in Texas. Four states have now moved to fair, nonpolitical redistricting methods. In California, at least, the results have been dramatic.

Find your Senators and Representatives bad scores and give them an F in an e-mail. Tell them they have lost your vote! Especially servants of tyranny like Pete Gallego - Dist. 23 who gets a big fat 0! Eleven follow the Constitution below 27% of the time! Talk about failures!

Cool beans! Guatemalan President Otto Pérez Molina just used his speech at the United Nations General Assembly to call for major drug policy reform. He specifically praised the citizens of Colorado and Washington for voting to legalize marijuana, and President Obama for his decision to allow the states to move forward.

Ethan Nadelmann, the Executive Director of the Drug Policy Alliance addressed 1000+ drug policy reformers from all over the world at the opening session of the International Drug Policy Reform Conference in Denver, Colorado. Ethan announced, "We Have Reached The Marijuana Policy Tipping Point!"

In a recent poll 58% of Texas voters support making marijuana legal for adults and regulating it like alcohol. Opponents were a distinct minority, with only 38% opposed. Marijuana prohibition has been a failure by every measure. During the same period in 2011, over 88% of all motor vehicle thefts and 71% of burglaries, including home invasions, more than 35% of the murders and almost 60% of the rapes went unsolved by police.

Get Texas tough on crime by putting more resources toward and being totally tenacious about solving more homicides, sex crimes and fraud. Really violent, dangerous predators roam free and rape kits go unprocessed while our precious resources are depleted chasing nonviolent drug users.

It is morally bankrupt to punish nonviolent adults for making a safer health choice, cannabis or marijuana, compared to other medicinal/social drugs.

Get tough on violent crime! Drug warriors and former military can get their adrenaline rush catching murderers and rapists! I am afraid! The huge backlog of unsolved crimes allows many savage, vicious, guilty people to walk our streets! This is a real terror threat that needs more focus!

Once and for all, prohibition is evil!! Marijuana is safer whether used for social or medicinal reasons. CPS destroying families over a safer choice is flat out treasonous - contrary to conscience, morality or law - use of our tax dollars. All prohibition laws are unjust and unethical because they do not allow free choice a founding principle of Jesus, other religious leaders and the US Constitution. Such corrupt legislation attracts morally bankrupt people to enforce it.

Less than 1% of US are actually addicted to anything illegal. About 9% are alcoholics. Treatment is seven times cheaper than prison.

Show fiscal responsibility, demand morally correct policy! Restore Justice, the guardian of liberty!

I salute true patriots, rebels with just cause who do everything they are able to do to realize the American dream! A dream worth striving for: of self-government; freedom from big government tyranny and oppression! Strengthen our system, set it to rights! Escape from tyranny! Support a free market economy! End Lobbying! Moral bankruptcy destroys!

The real cause of this huge quagmire of failed policy is the beast, big government, that money hungry beast, Uncle Sam! Ma Freedom tells it like it is! The beauty of it is when we focus on down-sizing our government we regain our roots of self-government and secure the blessings of liberty for future generations and ourselves.
