Big corporations and governments are often lacking in conscience and empathy. Big churches seem to have the same problem, in God's name!
What is missing? The very qualities that allow human beings to live in social harmony. Celebrating our similarities, free trade or the free market plus building bridges of tolerance to differences in religion, race and lifestyle will create a world of abundance and peace.
Big business and big government have a scandalous
mutually beneficial love affair going on! The Constitution doesn't authorize
Congress to subsidize industries or grant special favors for particular businesses.
Make Congress have an impossible time justifying special-interest legislation.
Tell Congress to pass the Enumerated Powers Act
A brilliant friend suggested all Members of Congress should be compelled to wear uniforms just like NASCAR drivers, so we can have no doubt about their corporate sponsors.
The blinded by the light of billions in tax and lobby money, bleeding leaders, thus corrupted are blithely unconscious of the societal harm their policies cause. They live in the state of denial. Many other leaders seem to have minds like concrete; thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.
Some are like bad horseman; too concerned about staying in the saddle to worry about where they are headed. Many are outright servants of tyranny; good at ignoring the rule of law, history and science while catering to the needs of special interests but very bad at determining what is best or safer for the individual or society.
Ethics, truth and transparency from our leadership is imperative. Tell your representative to oppose H.R. 4173 and to push for a standalone vote on Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill! Tune in to CNBC's Squawk Box this Tuesday (12/15) and support Ron Paul's message of economic freedom!
Morally bankrupt, war-and-fear mongering politicians are traitors to the American dream of self government; free of big government tyranny and oppression. They support policies that create chaos and situations that lead to a police state.
Here is some Texas straight talk from Congressman Ron Paul, If anyone still doubted that this administrations foreign policy would bring any kind of change, this weeks debate on Afghanistan should remove all doubt. The Presidents stated justifications for sending more troops to Afghanistan and escalating war amount to little more than recycling all the false reasons we began the conflict. It is so discouraging to see this coming from our new leadership, when the people were hoping for peace. New polls show that 49% of the people favor minding our own business on the world stage, up from 30% in 2002. Perpetual war is not solving anything. Indeed continually seeking out monsters to destroy abroad only threatens our security here at home as international resentment against us builds. The people understand this and are becoming increasingly frustrated at not being heard by the decision-makers. The leaders say some things the people want to hear, but change never comes
Rethink Afghanistan! Vote NO on any spending bill that would send more troops to Afghanistan. Our interference in Afghanistan opium production has forced many former opium farmers' daughters into slavery to cancel their father's debt.
Educate the powerful, be brave and end the terror by changing our intrusive, big-bully policies, both foreign and domestic. The monetary and environmental costs are staggering and the human suffering unconscionable.
How much more evil do we have to suffer before we abolish these insane forms to which we have become accustomed? Take action now join the Campaign For Liberty!
Ethical, compassionate team work makes the dream work! Consider the life-altering qualities of kindness and compassion. Stop financing war and the industrial weapons complex and spend more tax dollars to end poverty, hunger and to improve education. Even better; let's end taxes, pay for services as we use them and donate to our favorite church or charity foundation to help the local needy.
We the people suffer and pay for big government's wasteful programs and oppressive, unnecessary laws. How about requiring Congress to cite "chapter and verse" the section of the Constitution that gives them authority to pass a law, create or maintain a program, or impose a tax?
On top of Congress's penchant for oppressive, unnecessary laws, each year bureaucrats issue tens-of-thousands of new rules. None of these dictates are written by Congress, read by them, debated by them, or voted on by our legislators. Bureaucratic rule-making is unconstitutional and impractical. Only Congress has legislative authority. Write your Senators and Representatives here. Tell them to show you they take their oath to support and defend the Constitution seriously.
Let ethics and the free market rule! We are a nation founded in self-government or the freedom philosophy, both economic and personal. Our founders knew big government always meant a gang of evil doers, often hiding tyranny under the guise of good intentions.
Ask President Obama to stand tall for our Republic and the rule of law, ask him to end torture, wars, and all policies of aggression.
A commander and chief of peace will seize this day to return us to our roots; an America with a fierce respect for human rights, that stands firm in rejection of all forms of corruption and challenges anyone who seeks to undermine the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Bring our troops home, make a speedy end to all our current wars and prevent any future war of aggression.
There is no force for change on this planet more potent than one based on a moral issue. Moral issues cross all the boundaries of faith, political philosophy or race in which we may differ. The most powerful movement this planet has ever seen, a ground swell ethical revolution around the world is in progress!
Science should trump politics! We have to have a scientific basis for investigation findings and our laws; otherwise, it's no different than witch-hunting. The tobacco, alcohol and prescription drug gangs cause more death annually than all illicit drugs. We tolerate their salesmen. End prohibition; stop driving US to drink and use pharmaceuticals with dangerous often fatal side effects. Drugs like Zoloft and Luvox that cause increased aggression, loss of remorse, depersonalization and mania
All the unnecessary deaths triggered by our drug policies are democide (death by government). Servants of tyranny play on our fears to make us more accepting of their waste of our precious lives and resources.
The deadliest city in North America, Juárez across the border from El Paso, has had a little more than 2,200 drug related killings so far this year, a rapid rise from 1,600 killings last year. Drug-related deaths are now averaging about 300 a month, the total of all the killings in Juárez in 2007.
Weed out morally bankrupt servants of tyranny,
gun control fanatics and racists by taking away the main tool they use these
days to extend their agenda, the new prohibition. Help
construct better, safer drug policies for society and the individual.
Forget borders. Drug prohibition is a worldwide
problem! The violence, official lawlessness and prison over population are
our out-of-control policy created nightmare! Take control from the hands of
despicable people who sell drugs to children, recruit them to sell to their
peers and don't
mind killing off the competition.
Restore
Justice! Get
tough on violent crime! Drug warriors can get their adrenaline rush chasing
murderers and other violent predators. More time could be spent on DUI and
keeping drugs from minors.
All major religions believe that life is sacred. The war on drugs devastates the lives of drug users and their families. It triggers violence in our streets and on our borders. Corruption is rampant, official lawlessness rules as it did during alcohol prohibition.
Save the Children, from Prohibition! In reality
we owe reparations for the destroyed lives and destroyed families this appalling
policy has created!
People of all faiths and goodwill can stand together for a more just,
science based and compassionate alternatives to the current senseless policy.
Should there be penalties for drug use beyond the sometimes disastrous side effects? Instead why not try to reduce the harm caused by drug use, try saving lives instead of ruining them. Morally bankrupt policy creates a nightmare!
Sign the Student's for Sensible Drug Policy's petition to help Michael Phelps' career remain unhindered by his marijuana use, and make sure this incident should only serve to incite discussion about the need to reform our marijuana laws.
Marijuana is a safer choice. Warriors can get their adrenaline rush making us all safer, catching violent predators! Harassing the sick and dying is an un-American activity.
Our corrupt policies attract too many of those
who want to milk it for all it is worth. I encourage you to make the LEAP,
help restore
justice! Attract more of those who will make our system run with the milk
of human kindness. Law Enforcement Against Prohibition recently joined Amazon.com's
Amazon Associates program, which gives LEAP a commission of 4% to 8% on ANY
purchase you make when you go to the Amazon site through this
link.
True healthcare reform requires less government involvement, not more. Let the free market and ethics rule!
Unless the medication is approved by a physician within federal guidelines, drug warriors are against anyone feeling good, being at ease, being pain free. The people believe in self-government and self-medication.
Medical marijuana treats aggression in autistic kids! It's effective and safe.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) has established a new Medical / Good Samaritan Amnesty policy in an attempt to prevent future deaths from alcohol poisoning. We need this policy to extend to any life threatening drug overdose.
PBS offers a program called, "The Botany of Desire". It explores the botany behind the successful spread of apples, tulips, cannabis and potatoes around the world. Fascinating! Very pro biodiversity vs. monoculture which requires using those nasty chemical pesticides. I believe it is Michael Polland who says in the video the greatest botanists in our time are the marijuana growers.
In 2006, during Estonia's fight for independence from Soviet occupation, the Singing Revolution led to the restoration of the independence of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Hundreds of thousands of protesters gathered in public to voice their dissent through song. After 50 years of rule by the oppressive Soviet regime, the people of Estonia gave life to a grassroots movement for change by staging passionate rallies and singing forbidden patriotic songs. We can use this idea in our own nonviolent struggle for freedom.

Changing who's in charge will not affect much. The real cause of this huge quagmire of failed policy is the beast, big government, that money hungry beast, Uncle Sam! Ma Freedom tells it like it is! The beauty of it is when we focus on down-sizing our government we regain our roots of self-government and secure the blessings of liberty for future generations and ourselves.
